Why I shoot Boudoir
I chose to do boudoir because I have always despised my body, no matter what shape or size. It was ever changing as I went through the child bearing years. It was "never good enough" to me. Once I started diving into boudoir, I really started understanding just how much strain society puts on women to fit into one shape and size. It's unrealistic, and truly idiotic.
As a woman, and most of all a mom, I never had photos of me, much less sexy images! I used to take mirror selfies in my underwear and bra, and send them to my boyfriends and such, but nothing like this. I know this is true for SO many women!!
Growing up I was a true awkward teen, and I was mocked a lot for my appearance all the way through middle, and high school. Doing boudoir photography has taught me that there is no one size fits all for beauty. Let me tell you, watching the transformation of women from when they step through my door, to when they leave, is amazing.
Some ladies show up shaking because they are so nervous, and by the time they leave, they feel like boss bitches, and I am here for it!
